FAQ

What is Femarelle®?

Femarelle® is a standardized, stable compound with a clear fingerprint that works as a unique Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM) whose activities are agonistic or antagonistic, depending on the tissue.

What is the recommended dosage of Femarelle®?

Femarelle® should be taken twice daily, one capsule in the morning and one in the evening.

How soon can women expect to feel relief in their menopausal symptoms following the intake of Femarelle®?

From million women's months of treatment around the world, the expected time of felt relief is within 5-7 days.

For whom is Femarelle® recommended?

Femarelle® is recommended from peri-menopause and onward. Postmenopausal women will benefit from Femarelle through its bone forming properties, thus providing a long-term investment for a better quality of life.

Is Femarelle® an estrogen or hormone?

Femarelle® is not an estrogen nor is it a hormone. Femarelle® is in a class of therapeutic solutions called Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators, or SERMs. Femarelle® helps relieve menopausal symptoms and build bone without negatively affecting the breast or uterus. This means that Femarelle® does not cause breast tenderness or vaginal bleeding.

How long should Femarelle® be used?

Since Femarelle® as a novel SERM provides both relief of menopausal symptoms and bone build-up, it should be taken from the onset of menopausal symptoms and onwards.

Documented epidemiological observations of large populations of women who have taken the product since the year 2000 (million women's months treatment) reflect a beneficial effect of Femarelle® both on menopausal symptoms and on bone mineral density.
